Challenges of being a Desk Manager <ul><li>Making sure RA’s are following procedure and holding them accountable </li></ul><ul><li>-Let them know first hand what my expectations are and how I expect them meet them </li></ul><ul><li>Being a friend and confidant to RA’s while still maintaining professionalism </li></ul><ul><li>-Create a boundary in which there is a distinction between when to be professional versus when to be casual </li></ul><ul><li>Being flexible to handle unique situations as they arise </li></ul><ul><li>-Be prepared to give up some personal time; be calm and collected in stressful situations. </li></ul><ul><li>Keeping up to date with key logs, billing forms and resident check outs </li></ul><ul><li>-Allot specific time to devote to keys and compartmentalize emails by priority and date </li></ul>
