• Judges 2:14 And the anger of the LORD was hot

Greek.

• 2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou
hast known the holy scriptures, which are
able to make thee wise unto salvation through
faith which is in Christ Jesus.
• 1 Corinthians 4:17 For this cause have I sent
unto you Timothy, who is my beloved son,
and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you
into remembrance of my ways which are in
Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.
16. What happens when we teach!
• Philippians 2:19-20 But I trust in the Lord
Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I
also may be of good comfort, when I know
your state. For I have no man like minded,
who will naturally care for your state.
• Philippians 2:21-22 For all seek their own,
not the things which are Jesus Christ's. But
you know the proof of him, that, as a son with
the father, he has served with me in the
gospel.
17. Trusting in the Future
• Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope,
and the glorious appearing of the great God
and our Savior Jesus Christ;
• Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the
author and perfecter of our faith; who for the
joy that was set before him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and is seated at
the right hand of the throne of God.
18. Trusting in the Future
• 1 Cor. 15:51ff
• 1 Corinthians 15:55-58 O death, where is your
sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of
death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But
thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through
our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved
brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, since you know
that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
