  1. 1. Similar figures have the same shape but not necessarily the same size. Two  polygons are similar if corresponding angles are  congruent and  corresponding sides are proportional. The mathematical symbol for similarity is: ~ 1.  Fill in the measure of each angle in the following  triangles.  Then fill in the missing part of the proportion. a) b) 1
