Tokyo Sky Tree
At 2,080 feet, this tower will be the world’s
tallest when it opens in the spring, according
to Guinness World Records. Tokyo Sky Tree
stands 111 feet above the current record holder,
China’s Canton Tower, and is designed to
withstand an 8.0 magnitude earthquake.
The building will function as a broadcast tower
and tourist attraction, with two observation
decks and an enclosed walkway with a
360-degree view of Tokyo.
