  • 1. English Targets - Writing APP Writing – Level 3 Assessment Focus (AF) Criteria 1 - include appropriate ideas. - expand on basic information or events. - try to write from the view of someone. 2 - try to show purpose in your writing. - try to use the correct style of writing. 3 - organise ideas with some related points. - try to create a suitable beginning and ending. - try to sequence ideas correctly. 4 - try to use paragraphs and sections. - try to link sentences by topic. 5 - use simple sentences in your writing. - use and, so and but to expand your sentences. 6 - try to use full stops and capital letters correctly. - try to use speech marks in your writing. 7 - try to use simple, but appropriate, vocabulary. - try to use words for effect.
