While in the SU Midwifery Initiative you will: Take the core graduate courses at your home university in the first year*: *Part-time will be longer Take the midwifery courses at SU in the second year: You will receive a graduate degree from your home university and a Certificate of Endorsement in Midwifery from SU Then you take the national certification exam to become CNM
