  3. 3. In two years since our founding, we have presented dozens of high school workshops and concerts reaching thousands of students across the North Shore.   11. 11. North Shore Jazz Project All Stars are made up of more than talented musicians from Marblehead, Beverly, Gloucester, Boxford, Swampscott, Lynn, Ipswich and Georgetown NSJP awards it’s first scholarship to Jazz NSJP 11
  12. 12. All Stars Kick off Salem Jazz & Soul Festival August 2011 Mike, (right) grew up in Danvers and was educated at Berklee and NEC. He is an accomplished composer, arranger and mult-instrumentalist whose music takes Mike Tucker him around the world. NSJP All Stars artistic NSJP 12

  15. 15. Past concerts have included bringing Downbeat Poll winner Joe Lovano to the Back Stage Bistro at the North Shore Music NSJP 15
  16. 16. Concert venues include: Chianti’s Jazz Lounge, the Barn at Castle Hill, Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center, Archer Hall and the Back Stage Bistro. Crane Estate in Ipswich J. Geils and Harry Allen brought 250 folks to their feet at our second annual concert at this magnificent location the grounds of the Crane Estate in NSJP 16

  19. 19. NSJP Founders & Board members Chava Hudson NSJP is a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation. Henry Ferrini The NSJP was co-founded by Henry Ferrini, a filmmaker and musician who has been documenting the jazz scene on the North Shore since the 70’s. Ferrini and co-founder Chava Hudson attracted Board Members from around the North Shore who work in business, education and the arts. Each member brings a special enthusiasm to the Project resulting in programs that impact thousands of North Shore NSJP 19
