  2. 2. Georgia<br />I Chose Georgia because I already went there and I know a lot about it.<br />I learned about a lot of people who grew up in Georgia that are famous.<br />

Some Fast Facts About Georgia<br />The capital of Georgia is Atlanta.<br />Georgia became a state on January 2, 1788.<br />Georgia was the fourth state.<br />The state flower is a Cherokee Rose.<br />Some of the large cities are: Atlanta, Athens, and Augusta.<br />Georgia is 742.68 miles from Detroit.<br />The Georgia state flag looks like this:<br />

  19. 19. What I Learned<br />I learned that the Earth’s axis makes the Earth tilt.<br />When the Earth revolves around the sun it makes the seasons.<br />The seasons are Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.<br />
