Look at the beautiful pictures.
First we wrote out mihi to share information about
ourselves. We included:
Maunga – mountain
Moana – sea or Roto – lake
Awa – river
and our kura - school
We also introduced ourselves by including our ingoa
whānau – family name
We painted the background and then everything in
our mihi.
When we painted we chose something to represent
our whānau members.
