  7. 7. Institutional Mission <ul><li>Things to Consider: </li></ul><ul><li>Make sure that the current mission is cited on various websites and publications. (a quick test - Google JSU’s mission statement) </li></ul><ul><li>Mission should address teaching and learning, and, as a high research activity institution, research and service. </li></ul><ul><li>Provide evidence that mission statement has been approved by the governing board. </li></ul>Mission 3.1.1 Institutional Mission 2.4

Institutional Effectiveness <ul><li>Things to Consider: </li></ul><ul><li>CR 2.5 is equivalent to CS 3.3.1 </li></ul><ul><li>Show linkage among various planning evaluation processes </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Strategic planning, program reviews, student outcomes assessment, budget, master plan, facilities planning </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Need documentation for more than one year of assessment process (ideally, at least 5 years) and evidence of student learning outcomes for each program and program outcomes for each unit </li></ul><ul><li>Document “closing the loop” </li></ul><ul><li>Provide evidence of student achievement. </li></ul>Institutional Effectiveness 2.5
