Step by step instructions on how to sign up for and use the CFRE Practice Exam. In addition, you can now access (with the same subscription) digital flash cards!

  2. 2. Getting Started
  3. 3. The first time you visit, you will need to register. After that, you will login here. Visit http://testrun.com/cfre
  4. 4. A pop window will appear when you click on the register link.
  5. 5. Click the drop down and subscription options will appear. Choose one month or three.
  6. 6. Fill in your information and click next. You will be taken to the payment portal.
  7. 7. Getting to know the CFRE Practice Exam dashboard.
  8. 8. Enter your exam date here and it will create a countdown for you. All your account info is here. These spaces are blank until you take a practice exam. We will refer back to them in a few slides. When you’re ready to take a practice exam or short quiz, click on the pencil icon.
  9. 9. Click the pencil icon to begin the practice test.
  10. 10. Select your test length, and click start.
  11. 11. Questions are multiple choice. The question format and degree of difficulty are similar to the CFRE exam.
  12. 12. See a problem with one of the questions? You can click on the flag icon in the lower left corner and this dialogue box will appear.
  13. 13. When you get to the final question, the ”Finish” box will appear.
  14. 14. After you finish, you will be taken to a summary page. You will see your answers and be able to make changes.
  15. 15. If you’re happy with your answers, click proceed.
  16. 16. Your overall score: Click here for details on your answers. Your percentage by knowledge domain. Your percentage
  17. 17. Reviewing your answers.
  18. 18. The correct answer will be provided for any that you missed.
  19. 19. Once you are finished, return to the dashboard.
  20. 20. Now the blank areas have color coded bars. Red: Significant additional study needed. Yellow: Could benefit from additional study. Green: Strong in this category.
  21. 21. Take a short quiz in one of the knowledge domains by clicking the pencil icon.
  22. 22. Select the number of questions you want to answer and click the start button.
  23. 23. After you have taken several long tests and/or quizzes, your dashboard will begin to tell a story.
  24. 24. Your scores will show up here and the color coding will show you where you need work. Each time you take a test or quiz, your scores will update and give you the average of your 3 most recent attempts.
  25. 25. Remember, you can take unlimited tests/quizzes for 30 days or 90 days, depending on your plan.
  26. 26. Using Flashcards
  27. 27. Digital flashcards can help you study. • Click on any of the squares to the right of the percentage bars to access the flash cards.
  28. 28. Flashcards • A small pop up window will appear. You can select the difficulty of the questions. Your first time, select all. You will then be able to rate the questions on their level of difficulty for you.
  29. 29. Flashcards • After reading the definition, click anywhere on the text to flip over the answer.
  30. 30. Flashcards • The answer appears along with a difficulty rating. • Rate the question then click next.
  31. 31. Flashcards • When you are finished, you will see your rating of the cards. This will help you know what terms to study further. • As you use the flashcards more and learn the terms, you can change the ratings.
