Before you begin, spend 30 seconds observing the person. Take notes on what you see. 2. Decide if there is something specific you would like to know about the person (for example: what do they do over summer?) 3. Write down 7-10 open-ended questions in the space below that will help answer the specific topic you are interested in. 4.
