  2. 2.  Limit bullets  Text isn’t beneficial to the audience  The less you read the better your presentation  Use pictures  Capture the audiences eye  Use high quality photographs  Limit use of clip art  Don’t be afraid to have negative space  Slides don’t need to be filled with information KEEPING IT SIMPLE
  3. 3. Don’t let your colors blend together  Light on dark backgrounds  Dark on light backgrounds Pick one color theme and stick to it  Three main colors that compliment each other USE CONTRAST
  4. 4. Don’t be afraid to use pictures in your slides Make sure the pictures have the same color scheme as your presentation VISUAL AIDS
  5. 5. If you are giving statistics, make sure they are all together. One topic at a time KEEP LIKE THINGS TOGETHER
  6. 6.  Talk through your presentation to make sure that you have enough time  Don’t attempt to memorize your text, your text should be a summary of what you want to say  Think about the ideas and the words will come naturally PRACTICE YOU PRESENTATION
