  3. 3.  The logo defines your company.  Simplicity works.  Use colour as an embellishment.  Study the science of colour and typeface.  The element should not change.
  4. 4.  The Audi badge the 'Four Rings' is the emblem of one of the oldest car manufacturers in Germany.  It symbolises the 1932 merger of the four independent motor-vehicle manufacturers: Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer.
  5. 5.  A German-based multinational company.  Puma now sponsors around 30 national football teams globally.  The first Puma logo was shaped in 1948.  It delivers a clear notion of solid corporate position by its emblematic icon and brave typeface.

  8. 8. oThe Porsche badge is essentially the coat of arms of the city of Stuttgart, which was built on the site of a stud farm, hence the horse. The antlers and red-and-black stripes are part of the arms of the Kingdom of Wurttemberg. Which creates the Porsche Logo.
  9. 9. o The Toyota logo contains three ellipses, which represent the heart of the customer, the heart of the product and the heart of technological progress and limitless opportunities of the future. In Japanese, “Toyo” signifies abundance, and “ta” means rice. In some Asian cultures, the rice represents wealth.
  10. 10. oThe straightforward Chevy logo may seem mundane to the spectator at the first glance but it indeed holds huge significance in the corporate world. A brilliant simple cross in customary metallic colors representing the automobile industry defines the Chevy logo completely. Being a very simple yet elegant trademark, the Chevy logo design compels an everlasting impact on the human mind. oA trademark identity is the major ingredient used to promote a corporation and its products. Produced by one of the world’s most governing automobile makers, General Motors, Chevrolet is a leading brand of top-class vehicles. Evidently, the company needed a logo design for promoting and marketing their product. Hence, the Chevy logo was first introduced in 1913 by William Durant.
  11. 11. oMetro-Goldwyn-Mayer, widely known as MGM, is a leading American production house paving its way towards prosperity since 1924. It came into being by the entertainment entrepreneur Marcus Loew who acquired hegemony over Metro Pictures, Goldwyn Pictures Corporation and Louis B. Mayer Pictures. Loew merged these three production companies and formed the now well-known Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer media company. Ever since the company was born, MGM has retained a definite and impressive logo design to demonstrate the power of the corporation. oMGM logo is genuinely presented with Leo the Lion which has rather become a mascot for the Hollywood production house MGM. Leo the Lion is the chief feature portrayed in the MGM logo which depicts the high corporate image of the firm. MGM logo has abide some alterations but the logo design has never lost its worth. It still continues to project the same notion of class, credibility and durability as it used to reflect when it was first created. With the passage of time, the postures of the lion were altered to some extents but the originality of the MGM logo did not bear any variation.
  12. 12. o The Datsun Name Is Born o Then in 1918, DAT motorcar company was renamed to Kwaishinsha Motorcar company for seven years. After the seven years, they returned to the name DAT motorcar company. Then, after a merger and a series of years, DAT motors decided to come out with a new car called the Datson, meaning the son of DAT. After this car was made and Nissan took over DAT motors, they changed the "son" to "sun" because son also means loss in Japan; thus, giving birth to the first Datsun. Nissan o Then, in 1934, after taking over DAT motors, Nissan officially became Nissan under the name Nissan Motor Company Ltd. During this time, the company went through a lot of contracts and other expansions. In the beginning, Nissan was partnered with European companies to help design and make their Datsun models.   13. 13. oThe Harley Davidson Company began as a manufacturer of motorcycles but now is more of a brand. The Harley Davidson logo today is not only seen on motorbikes, but also on shirts, belt buckles, pens, posters, wallpapers etc. Today the logo remains as a powerful and a famous sign among the young specially the males, inspired by the evergreen love of bikes and automobiles among this age group. oThe Harley Davidson Company was started by William S. Harley in 1902. Together with Arthur Davidson, in 1903 they assembled their very first two- cylinder motorcycle, marking the beginning of the Harley Davidson. The Harley Davidson logo was created in 1910 and since then did not evolve much. More commonly known as the ‘bar and shield’ logo, it is renowned all over the world.

  23. 23. THE BLUE SQUARE REPRESENTS A SMALL INDIVIDUAL AND THE RED LINES SURROUNDING HIM INDICATES THE PROTECTIVE BOUNDARIES LIKE A HOUSE SHELTERS ITS OCCUPANTS.
  24. 24. THE LOGO OFFERS SECURITY. AN ARC OVER THE LOWERCASE ‘t’ REPRESENTS STRONG AND POWERFUL UMBRELLA SHELTERING AND TAKING CARE OF IT’S TRUSTWORTHY PATRONS.
  25. 25.  THE ICON REPRESENTS THE USA FLAG.  THE REPETITION OF THE DOUBLE-LINED PATTERN REPEATING THREE TIMES REPRSENTS REINFORCEMENT AND FAMILIARITY.  THE RED AND BLUE COLOUR REPRESENTS STRENGTH, POWER, TRUST & EXCITEMENT.
