Prior positions include head of the Vision Research Group for Medical Displays at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1992-1996), and Professor of Optics at the University of Central Florida (1996-2008). In 2009, she joined the Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester as The Brian J. Thompson Professor of Optics and Associate Director of the R.E.
