Note: If the set is in the power save mode, the 3.3 volts will be missing. If unsure about mode, disconnect AC for 30 seconds, reapply AC and check for 3.3 volts. Voltage should be present for a short period regardless of mode. Yes Suspect the TCon PCB on the display. Suspect the seine PCB. No To boot the set using update card: 1. Remove AC. 2. Insert firmware update card. 3. Reapply AC. Both LEDs should light. 4. After several minutes the amber LED should turn off. 5. Remove card, then remove AC for 30 seconds. 6. Reapply AC and set should operate normally. Is 12 volts present at the main power PCB? No Suspect the main power PCB. SMART200603_Version1.5 No Refer to LED error codes Unplug the LVDS cable. Disconnect AC for 30 seconds, then reapply AC. Does the front LED stop blinking? Try booting set using firmware update card or replace seine PCB. Does a front LED continually blink 3 times then pause? Suspect the tuner/AV PCB. Yes See Note Above. Is 3.3 volts present at connector P812A, pin 8 on tuner/AV PCB? Yes Suspect the low B PCB. With the TV in the Service Mode now Press the “9” button on the remote. You should now be in the Production – Self Check Screen. LED STATUS INDICATIONS The yellow, blue and red/green LED lights on the TV (at the bottom center of the TV) indicate the TV's status, as described below: Note: If the TV loses A/C power (e.g., a power outage occurs or the power cord is unplugged), when power is restored, the yellow LED will blink while the TV is booting until the remote control is usable. This is normal and is not a sign of malfunction. LED Indication 1 Blue is ON (solid). -2 Red is ON (solid). -3 Red blinks three times. Check the Digital board. 4 Blue blinks slowly. • • 5 Blue blinks quickly. Check the cause that the protecting circuit of the power supply. Condition The TV is operating properly. Recording is in progress. The TV is in rebooting. Abnormal operation of BUS line. Check the faulty device through the self diagnostics function under SERVICE mode. Does BUS line (SCL, SDA) work normally? If the BUS line is under abnormal conditions, replace the faulty device with a new one.
