As a writer for Forbes, Mashable, TechCrunch, and other publications I've received pitches from hundreds of startups, public relations agencies, and other individuals trying to get me to write about their companies or clients' companies. Most do it the wrong way by sending out shotgun pitches (the same pitch emailed to 200 people), sending out press releases to journalists who have no interest in the subject, or being too wordy. Pitching your company successfully isn't hard, doesn't take a lot of time, and can be done without any money, but a few pointers can make a big difference, and that's what's in this presentation.
The presentation that accompanied these slides was originally given at http://mosa.org.tw on October 8th, 2015 to a group of startups in Taiwan.
