  2. 2. Location<br />San Juan, Batangas<br />is located at the easternmost part of the province .<br />
  3. 3. Batangas has a natural cool climate. It experiences two types of seasons: dry from November to April and wet for the rest of the year. Mean annual rainful is at maximum during July at 1.5 to 2.5 meters. March is the driest month. Mean monthly temperature is 82 degrees Fahrenheit. February is the coldest month averaging 69 degrees Fahrenheit while May is the hottest at 96.1 degrees Fahrenheit.<br />CLIMATE<br />

FLORA<br />MANGROVE<br />Rhizophora mangles<br />tropical evergreen trees or shrubs, having stiltlike roots and stems and forming dense thickets along tidal shores.<br />COCONUT TREE<br />Cocosnucifera<br />Their life span is only about thirty years. Although highly difficult to grow, the dwarf varieties are valued because they bear early and are resistant to lethal yellowing disease.<br />

FAUNA<br />WHALE SHARK<br />Rhincodon typus<br />Length and weight<br />When they have a length of 4,5 meters, the weight is about 750 kg. The maximum length of a grownup whale shark is 13-14 meters. The whale shark then has a weight of approximately 1500 kilograms.<br />PAWIKAN<br />Eretmochelys imbricata<br />Length: Approximately 3 feetWeight: Ranges from 176 -  270 pounds;  Average Weight: 176 poundsCarapace Length: Ranges from 2 1/2 feetto 3 feet<br />

SIGNIFICANCE<br /> The significance of this place to me is that it showed me the importance of each organism.<br /> Also it made me realized that every single thing that we have in our ecosystem has its own role.<br /> The significance in my course is that I was given a chance to see the beauty of the place while we were there. To learn how to appreciate simple things.<br />
