Narrative Poetry-includes all poems that tell a story- tells a story, often making use of the voices of a narrator and characters as well; the entire story is usually written in metered verse.   17. 17. classifications1. Acrostic- the first letters of each line are aligned vertically to form a word. The word is the subject of the poem.2. Couplet- the easiest form in which it consists of two lines with an end rhyme I like to play with my cat. He likes to get in a hat.3. Villanelle -has 19 lines, 5 stanzas of three lines and 1 stanza of four lines with two rhymes and two refrains.
