Honest about two things
Firstly, I am by no stretch of the imagination as expert in these things
Secondly, I have found the last few weeks challenging, they have exposed that my heart, despite loving jesus, is still capable of being an idol factory, or as the puritans put it, a cess pit of sin. Narcissm: It’s all about me, Hedonism: Delight yourself in the Lord, and yet there are time in my life when the pleasures of knowing Christ get blurred with other pleasures.
Take something good and turn it into a God
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26-28 God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them
      reflecting our nature
So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea,
the birds in the air, the cattle,
   And, yes, Earth itself,
and every animal that moves on the face of Earth."
   God created human beings;
      he created them godlike,
   Reflecting God's nature.
He created them male and female.
Gen 1: 26 God blessed them:
"Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge!
Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air,
for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth." Observe, Classify, Make theoretical models, experiment, imagine, implement
We should give God thanks for technology and science

Faith in Technology, All we need is to channel money, time, education into sceince, science will bring us new technologies. The future is bright!
I am sorry to say that there is too much point to the wisecrack that life is extinct on other planets because their scientists were more advanced than ours.  ~John F. Kennedy
It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.  ~Albert Einstein

Truth claims that cannot meet the scientific standard are relegated to the realm of mere values, preferences, tastes and opinions: they may be privately held, but they must not be proclaimed as public truth.
“A missionary encounter with our culture must bring us face to face with the central citadel of our culture, which is the belief that is based on the immense achievements of the scientific method ... the belief that the real world, the reality with which we have to do, is a world that is to be understood in terms of efficient causes and not of final causes, a world that is not governed by an intelligible purpose, and thus a world in which the answer to the question of what is good has to be left to the private opinion of each individual and cannot be included in the body of accepted facts that control public life.”

Look to Jesus. If we have been guilty of the sin of idolatry ‘Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. If we think science has knowledge, look to Jesus who created all their is to be known. If we are guilty of scientism, reducing truth claims to that which can be seen through a telescope or up through a microcope, beg and plead that Jesus would reveal his truth in your heart.
Mark 5. A man who was indwelt by many demons, he was put in chains, he was living in the graveyard, he was dehumanised... was living life like an animal. People had previosuly tried to help him, to tame him, he was crying out and cuttign himself with stones. When he met Jesus the demons left him, the powers which keep the idols in place, the forces which controlled, fled.
