  2. 2. Lines A music staff has 5 lines. Each line has a specific note (EGBDF). They all represent a sound in music. To remember the notes on a line you say Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge!!!
  3. 3. Spaces A music Staff has 4 spaces. Each space has a specific note (FACE). They all represent a sound just like every note in a line represents a sound. To remember the notes in a space you say FACE. As you can see FACE rhymes with SPACE.
  4. 4. A Treble Clef is a clef placing G above middle C on the second-lowest line ofTreble Clef the staff. A Treble Clef always comes before the Music Notes and Time Signature.

  8. 8. Measure A Measure is a measurement of time that contains a specific number of pulses defined by a time signature. A measure contains a natural division of strong beats and weak beats.
