A few words about Poland
The Republic of Poland is a country in Central Europe,
bordered by Germany to the west, the Czech Republic
and Slovakia to the south, Ukraine, Belarus to the east,
and the Baltic Sea and Kaliningrad Oblast and
Lithuania to the north.

Attributes of our country are: red emblem with white
eagle with gold crown, anthem - "Mazurek
Dąbrowskiego" and white and red flag.

The Copernicus Science Centre
The Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw is a
science museum standing which contains over
450 interactive exhibits that enable visitors to
single-handedly carry out experiments and
discover the laws of science for themselves.
It’s a big and nice city. You can find there
everything. Starting from the Zoo, throught 117
bridges and ending at Panorama Racławicka.
St. Jan Catherdral
Kraków was the second capital of Poland. In 1364
King Kazimierz Wielki made there a first Polish
university, Jagiellonian University. In Kraków
you should visit a beautiful castle: The Wawel
Castle, the Cloth Market called Sukiennice,
the Underground Market and St. Mary,s
church in the Old Town.

Our mountains- Tatry
The highest point is Rysy- 2,499m. You can find
there a whistler.
Zakopane is called "the capital of Polish mountains". Around
this city there are the Tatras mountains. In Zakopane there is
a beautiful lake called Morskie Oko. Near Zakopane there is a
high mountain Kasprowy Wierch. If you want to get on it, you
can use a ski lift. The most popular mountain in Zakopane is
Giewont with a big cross on the top of it.

Our Baltic Sea
Poland has got access to the sea. That sea is
called Bałtyk. The biggest cities which lie by our sea
have got an enormous number of tourists, for
example: Świnoujście, Kołobrzeg, Władysławowo,
Hel, Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot. But even small
towns are devoloping too.
