  2. 2. What is Monera One of the taxonomic kingdoms in the old biological classification system that consisted of prokaryotes, particularly bacteria, arch bacteria, and blue-green algae Taxonomic meaning - The classification of organisms in an ordered system that indicates natural relationships.

Absorb nutrients from outside their bodies E. Some monerans cause diseases, but others are helpful to people F. Examples: Bacteria, Anabaena
