DUCOMMUN INCORPORATED ANNOUNCES Contract for Boeing 777 Aft Cowl
LOS ANGELES, California (December 1, 2009) - Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE:
DCO) today announced that its Ducommun AeroStructures, Inc. (DAS) subsidiary has been
awarded a contract to manufacture the Boeing 777 aircraft aft engine aft cowl section from
Aerospace Dynamics International of Valencia, California. The value of the contract over the
period of performance is worth up to $26 million.
Aerospace Dynamics International-a subsidiary of The Marvin Engineering Group-Los
Angeles, California, is a leading supplier of large machined aircraft structures.
Ducommun will build these cowl sections at their Gardena, California facility.
Ducommun AeroStructures manufactures large, complex structural components and
assemblies in aluminum, specialty alloys such as titanium, metal bond and composites for a wide
variety of military and commercial aerospace applications.
