2. The FIA may have proved to be
disappointing for Scott Tucker Leawood
and his Level 5 Motorsports team but the
possibilities of defending the 2011 LMP2
Title are getting greater by the day.
While Sebring has proved to be a fine
start to the season, let us take a look at
why Scott Tucker Leawood stands a
great chance of clinching his 75th title in
2012 ALMS season and why his Level 5
Motorsports team can end up defending
the 2011 title.
3. Scott Tucker Leawood has managed to
form an amazing team of drivers to aid
him in the quest. Christophe Bouchut,
Jaoa Barbosa, Luis Diaz and Ryan Hunter
Reay to name the best in the team
headed by Scott, all have a knack for
podium finishes at some of the best
events in the global racing events.
If one looks at the combination then it is
easy to note the amazing brain of Scott
Tucker Leawood at work in forming the
team.
4. Christophe Bouchut is easily one of the
finest endurance race drivers in the
world. Christophe Bouchut has been a
winner of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the
24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of
Spa. He has also won three Porsche
Carrera Cup France championships, a
FFSA GT championship and three FIA GT
Championship titles.
5. Bouchut has been a co driver with Scott
Tucker Leawood since the 2008 season.
With 100 career victories under his belt
already, he would turn out to be a
deciding factor in Tucker’s 2012 quest.
6. Jaoa Barbosa has been a name to reckon
with in the racing circuits for almost
three decades now.
The Portuguese driver has several titles
to his credit including 2003 Rolex 24 at
Daytona and overall victory in the Rolex
24 at Daytona in 2010.
7. Jaoa Barbosa was integral to the podium
finish of Level 5 Motorsports team at Le
Mans and the class victory at the Petit Le
Mans.
The Petit Le Mans had pretty much
established the fine combination of Scott
Tucker Leawood, Christophe Bouchut and
Barbosa.
8. With the team blending in nicely and
each having a specialty on different types
of races and circuits, with David Stone
and the entire team at Level 5
Motorsports catering to a fine job, Scott
Tucker Leawood and his entire team
seems to be set and well equipped to
clinch the 2012 LMP2 title at ALMS.
