We have hands-on experience engineering, constructing, and commissioning biodiesel facilities. The Jatropha Biodiesel facility we are currently constructing in Africa will have a Phase I capacity of 48,000 Metric Tons per annum. The project is planned for a total of four (4) phases over five (5) years. Our equipment is fabricated in modules and is very cost competitive compared to stick built facilities and can be installed and commissioned in about half the time. The biodiesel modules are scalable in 4000/litre per hour increments.

  3. 3. The Company and its ObjectivesInnovative Technology Systems Inc. (ITS) a Kansas, USA based company has a biodieselsolution to fit the diverse needs of a biofuels producer from small laboratory and farm scaleunits up through integrated, modular systems scalable to 150,000 MT per annum or larger. The larger modules can be integrated with pre-treatment systems to allow utilization of bio-oilswith varying quality and composition. Utilization of a ITS pre-treatment module ensures the oilused will produce EN14214 or ASTM D6751 specification biodiesel. The ITS biodieselsystems are powered by electricity which reduces process emissions, simplifying thepermitting process and allowing the system to be installed and operated indoors. The ITSbiodiesel modules have a sophisticated control system that can be operated locally at thepanel or remotely in a control room or potentially at an offsite central control facility. Thecontrol system can optionally be integrated into an existing control system at a refiners facility. The modular fabrication reduces the time to delivery, install, and commission a biodieselrefinery, shortening the conventional construction period from 16-20 months to 9 months fromthe time of contract signing and receipt of deposit.Slide 3

  5. 5. Worldwide Demand for BiodieselBiodiesel Emerges as a Global Industry:The global market for biodiesel is entering a period of rapid, and transitional growth. Biofuel mandatesin Europe and the United States have created strong demand for sustainable biofuel production. Inthe BRIC nations of Brazil, India and China, key government initiatives are spawning hundreds of newopportunities for feedstock development, biodiesel production, and export. In the year 2007, therewere only 20 oil producing nations supplying the needs of over 200 nations. In 2012, more than 200nations will become biodiesel producing nations and suppliers. The world is entering a new era ofparticipation by emerging market nations in global green energy production for transport fuels.Biodiesel feedstock markets world-wide are in transition from increasingly expensive first generationfeedstocks such as soy, rapeseed and palm oil to alternative, lower cost, non-food feedstocks suchas Jatropha and Millettia. As a result, a surge in demand for alternative feedstocks is driving newgrowth opportunities in the sector. Biodiesel producers who are able to source oil from their ownplantations will have a significant competitive advantage in the global marketplace.Slide 5
  6. 6. The ITS SolutionAdvanced Equipment for the Evolving Biofuels Market:ITS has re-defined the traditional biodiesel refinery and construction methods through thedevelopment of low cost, fast build modular refineries, which can use a sustainable supply offeedstock’s that are not subject to the same price pressure as food grade crops. The opportunity is to create biodiesel using sustainable and acceptable feedstocks in a low-cost process that can be easily expanded through modular add-on expansion. The use of ourequipment will allow our clients to transition a biodiesel business away from traditional food-grade crops such as crude palm oil, rapeseed and soy, to jatropha, Millettia Pinnata, andSilver Leaf, through to algae and other sustainable and eco friendly future feedstocks. Our advanced equipment and additional value-added processes will enable our clients todevelop a profitable business that will transition through the evolving biofuels industry. ITS ison the cutting edge of biofuel technology development, and is committed to developingsolutions that create a competitive advantage.Slide 6
