  1. 1. • Developing countries have big, unstable infrastructures.• The population density of developing countries is very high• Too many cities are built near earthquake fissures (that then form rivers), indicating they’re vulnerable.
  2. 2. • The most important emergency infrastructures (eg. Hospitals, fire-fighters, among others) are located in the heart of the city; so, if an earthquake’s epicentre was located in the city, the most important infrastructures to help the injured would be destroyed, thus elevating the number of deaths.
