  2. 2. To access the website enter: https://sfile.ct.gov/ The following page will appear:
  3. 3. 1 -Enter your assigned Tumbleweed user name in the “Name” field. 2-Enter your assigned Tumbleweed password in the “Password” field.

Select Log In and the following screen will appear. <ul><li>Two files will appear: Full.Roster.txt and New.Names.txt </li></ul><ul><li>Full.Roster.txt: Will be a complete listing of all public service operators who are currently disqualified. </li></ul><ul><li>New.Names.txt: Will be a listing of all public service operators who were recently disqualified. An operator will remain on this list for a period of 30 days from the date of disqualification. On the 31st day of disqualification the operator name will be moved from the New.Names.txt file to the Full.Roster.txt and will remain on that list until the disqualification is completed. </li></ul>
  5. 5. To view the New Names list - Select the file name of the list you would like to access and the following report will appear: Scroll down to read the names as they appear in alphabetical order
  6. 6. The heading of the report will indicate which report was accessed and the date it was accessed. Scroll down and the name, birth date, operator number and disqualification date of the disqualified operators will appear as follows:

At this point I print the list and read through it looking for my drivers. <ul><li>If none of my drivers are on the list – I sign the bottom and file it for a reference if we are ever audited by the DMV. </li></ul><ul><li>If a driver is on the list they are informed that they can not drive until they correct the problem that put them on the list. </li></ul><ul><li>I then pull their driver file in the main office and put them in the inactive section. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Possible Reasons for Disqualification <ul><li>Traffic Violations (Unpaid Tickets) </li></ul><ul><li>Accident </li></ul><ul><li>DOT Physical is out of date </li></ul><ul><li>If the driver has chosen not to renew their license – thus withdrawing from transporting passengers </li></ul>

Names can be searched by using the Find Feature in the browser <ul><li>Use this feature to Search for your Specific Driver </li></ul><ul><li>If your Driver has been Removed from the 30 day list -you can use this feature in the “Full Roster” list to double check that they have been removed and not gone past the 30 days – transferring them to the Full Roster. </li></ul>
