  2. 2. Geographical situation <ul><li>Gósol is a village and municipality located in the northwest of the comarca of Berguedà in Catalonia, in the Pyrenees. It is near the confines of Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, to the west of Pedraforca. </li></ul>

  4. 4. History of the village <ul><li>Gosol was founded in the 10th century . </li></ul><ul><li>Now, Gosol includes s ome villages within the municipal limits , the bigest village is Sorribes, but there are others, like la Collada, Molí d'en Güell, Moripol ... </li></ul>
  5. 5. Climate <ul><li>Gósol has a cool, subalpine climate. Compared to less mountainous areas of Catalonia it is rather wet. It receives over 900mm of precipitation each year, concentrated in the spring months. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Festivals and traditions <ul><li>The town's festa major, takes place on August 15 each year.
