FCCC HOSTS FIRST “CAMP FREIGHTLINER” IN OREGON
What: Every year, thousands hit the open road to experience the freedom of RV travel. Now,
Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC), the largest diesel Class A chassis
manufacturer in the nation, is providing the opportunity to pack along a great deal of
knowledge as well.
FCCC is expanding its popular Camp Freightliner sessions, where RV owners, or those
simply interested in learning more about motorhome chassis, spend two full days learning
the ins and outs of their chassis, to the West Coast this year. Traditionally, Camp
Freightliner has usually been held at the company’s location in South Carolina, but this
August, FCCC will host a special session on the heels of the major Family Motor Coach
Association (FMCA) RV rally in Redmond, Ore.
“We’ve had great feedback from people who attend our Camp sessions here in South
Carolina, and we wanted to give West Coast RV enthusiasts the opportunity to attend as
well,” said Jennifer Edwards, marketing and communications manager.
Camp Freightliner is a comprehensive
session where current and prospective
RV owners can learn about RV chassis,
including care and maintenance tips,
and ask questions in a fun and casual
group setting. Topics covered include
air brake and electrical systems, weight
distribution, vehicle storage and more.
Cost is $100 for one person, $150 for
two (pilot and co-pilots). Registration
and more information can be found at: Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation’s tent at a
