J. Mark Brewer, co-founder, president, and managing director of the Houston firm of Brewer & Pritchard, P.C., has litigated landmark cases and published articles on legal issues. As counsel for one of the defendants in the accounting fraud litigation titled In re Enron Corporation Securities, Derivative & ERISA Litigation, Mr. Brewer represented the single biggest creditor of Enron. In Morales v. Daley, argued before a federal district court in 2000, J. Mark Brewer mounted a constitutional challenge against the U.S. Census Bureau’s threat of criminal prosecution for Americans who refuse to fill out and return the “long form.”
