The Danish Energy Agency and Danish Energy Association had organized a discussion of the World Energy Outlook 2011 by the International Energy Agency’s Chief Economist Dr. Fatih Birol on 15 November 2011 in Copenhagen.

Dr. Johannes Meier, CEO European Climate Foundation and Anders Eldrup, CEO DONG Energy gave their assessment of an energy system and a world in transition.

Minister for Climate, Energy and Buildings Martin Lidegaard opened the event with his views on the challenges the world faces.
