Before Researching… <ul><li>What information would you expect titles to contain? </li></ul><ul><li>How would you expect titles to look (font, colour, position) in your chosen genre? </li></ul><ul><li>How would you expect titles to be animated (movement, transitions) in your chosen genre? </li></ul>

Research <ul><li>Find the title sequences from three films in your genre (try www.artofthetitle.com ) </li></ul><ul><li>Establish what they have in common: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Content; </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Appearance; </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Animation. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>A good way to present this is as a 9-frame panel. </li></ul><ul><li>How will this impact the titles you produce? What will you include, borrow, copy…? </li></ul>
