• Do you think it’s important to have? Why?
• Self esteem is to have confidence in
yourself. It is very centered on you.
• Is that a good thing?
• What is self respect then?
• What is the difference between
self esteem and self respect?
• Esteem is the power that drives, respect is
what discerns how that power is used.
• Respect yourself and your body.
• Your body is the temple of God take care of it!
• Genesis 1:26-27
• Then God said, “Let us make man in our
image, in our likeness, and let them rule over
the fish of the sea and the birds of the air,
over the livestock, over all the earth, and
over all the creatures that move along the
ground.” So God created man in his own
image, in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
I Look Like God?

From Rags to Riches

nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For
your sake we face death all day long; we are considered
as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us. For I am convinced that
neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither
the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither
height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be
able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
