is widely used in garments and features in long range elasticity.

A. Very high in elasticity: the common finished fabric doesn’t use 100% polyester, but often mix other fiber around 5-30%, and get
the finished product with 15-45% soft and resilient;
B. Most spandex fabric manufacturers use complex yarn to produce. To be specific, to use Polyurethanes as core, and other fiber
like nylon, polyester as outer cortex layer and produce the final finished spandex fabric which has good adaptability to body and
no pressure, fit for tights;
C. Spandex fabric appearance, style and property is close to the same fabric with the same outer layer fiber.

Spandex fabric are widely used in the textile industry like underwear, sportswear, casual clothing, socks, pantyhose and
bandages, can be also used in medical area. Spandex fabric seeks dynamic and convenient. In comparison with the original
fabric, spandex helps to elongate 5-8 times, thus more comfortable and soft wearing, no wrinkle and nice shape keeping.

3. Advantages of spandex fabric
The biggest advantage is perfect elastic, about 5-8 times elongation;
Anti-aging, spandex fabric often mix elastic fiber with other materials, and elastic fiber content around 3-10%, swimwear fabric
takes around 20% elastic fiber content;
Spandex has high tensile strength and breaking elongation, above 400%, low-modulus, and long range elasticity;
Resistant to sea water;
Can withstand oil, acid alkalis;
Disadvantages of spandex fabric
Medium absorption of perspiration;
Sensitive to high temperature: under high temperature, it fades but different depends on different types. Can’t withstand ironing
and pressing;
