They will be exposed to a great deal of infection control techniques especially aseptic techniques/hgand washing, and how to manage exposure to body fluids. • Watching practitioners positioning patients for surgical proceedures. Receiving patients in theatres. • The importance of patient consent. They will have opportunity to rotate between the theatres, recovery and anaesthetic.
