  2. 2. Are you old?
  3. 3. Are you Special?
  4. 4. Let’s begin…
  5. 5. Why I am here? Why Jesus himself came? Jesus proclaims his mission. JESUS CHRIST His mission is for all. His promises to us.
  6. 6. What is your personal question in life?
  7. 7. LUKE 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,
  8. 8. LUKE 4:18 CAPTIVES  to money, power, work, achievements. Things the world values. BLIND  by pride, wrong self-image. Not recognize things with real value. OPPRESSED  by our bondages, addiction. Ex. To alcohol, drugs, illicit sex. POOR  These are those who live lives apart from God.
  9. 9. JESUScame... Who are we at the cross with Jesus?
  10. 10. SALVATION CAPTIVES  He proclaims liberty to captives. BLIND  He gives sight to the blind. OPPRESSED  He lets the oppressed go free. POOR  He brings glad tidings to the poor. Is there error from the Bible?
  11. 11. The WORLD today.... Upsurge in sexual promiscuity WHY?The WAY you PRAY. The WAY you LIVE. Homosexuality, perversity Rampant greed & dishonesty Workaholics, no room for God Break-up of families Spiritual blindness To get it INSTANT. To cover up difficulties. To turn occult for good luck. To be IN just to feel OK.
  12. 12. Why are we lacking in spiritual power as Christians? The WAY you PRAY. The WAY you LIVE. Unwilling to give up sin. Sin in our lives blocks the power of God. One may be a good person, but conversion to the Lord is not full. Many do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. No Christian support. Not living in the power of the Holy Spirit.
  13. 13. What must we do? To understand that we are not meant for this world but for a higher life with God. Our stay in this world is transitory. Our true citizen-ship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20) Investigate for yourself what Jesus is offering. NEWREAL
  14. 14. Let’s conclude…
  15. 15. It will bring you to the doorway to  spiritual freedom,  maturity and  power in Christian living. Don’t live as if you’ll never die Our stay in this world is transitory. Our true citizen-ship is in heaven.
