He understands the latest in the New York Real Estate Marketplace. I’d like to introduce the rest of our team and our operations I’m Jessica VP Operations and my primary focus is realtor and design operations. This includes hiring on great realtors and on-boarding design partners . This is a critical part of our business. Another critical part of our business is Marketing and Advertising. Ashley is our VP in this department and is responsible for building our brand and marketing our high end properties . Tony is our VP of Technology and Finance. He delivers our web based solution and oversees the financial plan for our business . You might wonder how 4 dedicated high school students can be successful selling luxury real estate and design services. We are passionate about our idea and we already have a great team of industry leaders backing us. Here are the leaders we have been working with over the last 6 months I’d like to introduce our Senior Realtor from The Corcoran Group, the current top real estate company in New York City. Cathy Blau has really helped us understand luxury real estate sales. We also worked with Elaine Dean, a Managing Director, who advised us on the operations of a Real Estate Brokerage Company. We have also worked closely with Shane Reilly to understand the luxury designer business. This summarizes our team’s operations.
Presenter: Jessica What to Say: Now let’s review our team’s goals and objectives Our business will become profitable in April of our First Year. We will have 25 Senior Realtors ready to sell as we start our business year. To do this we will hire on a Selling Director. The Selling Director is a senior realtor that will come to Opal Ave because we will pay him/her a salary as well as their commission. This person will help us bring on our 25 Realtors. Our goal is to have 40 designers in our network and hosted on our web site by the end of the first year. We will first bring on the top designers in the industry who will receive free marketing and referrals by partnering with us. These first designers will allow us to bring on the additional designers to our network. We have a modest goal of selling 75 luxury homes our first year. This is 3 homes per Senior Realtor. We will sell 191 homes in year 2 and 275 luxury homes in year 3. These are bold yet realistic goals. I’d like to introduce Ashley. She is going to give you an overview of our market, our target customer, and our marketing plan.

We will market our high end properties in similar venues as our brand marketing. We can also use our web site and our multiple listing services to sell luxury properties.

There will be no paper forms to fill out here since our realtors use an online profile. My Opal List: Our solution provide personalized listings on the fly. The realtor can walk through the customized listings noting location and other important property attributes (door man building, loft, penthouse, etc). Opal Walk-Thru: Here our realtors give a Walk-Thru of a property as it would look in our customer’s style Closing the Deal: Our high end realtors will make closing the deal fast and efficiently. Meet Designer: We connect a customer with our OpalAvenue certified designer to personalize the property according to their style. Finally the sale and design job is complete and the client is happy. Presenter: Tony What You Say: When we spoke to Mrs. Reilly, our luxury designer, we found out that it is very difficult and expensive for designers to keep their portfolios up to date on the web. This is our set of tools to make this easy. It allows the designer to add new photos, change content, etc. without having to know any scripting. As you can see we have a comprehensive solution for our luxury buyers, realtors, and designers.

This is 4.7M in Year 1 from the sale of just 75 properties! Portfolio Hosting is a monthly hosting provided to our Designers. Design Certification is a one time fee to qualify our Designers to our network. Notice we give this away free year 1. We get Designer Referrals revenue. We also make modest revenue from Web Ads on our web site. I’ll highlight a couple important expense categories: Advertising is very important as we start our business.
