  10. 10. DRESS CODE YES! Each student will wear proper dress at all times during the school hours and at school activities. NO! Clothing that exposes any part of the midriff, torso or chest, Clothing with a low neck line Midriff tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, backless shirts, cut-out shirts Clothing that is see through Shorts and skirts that do not extend to the ends of the finger tips Slips, bandanas, trench coats, and clothing designed as underwear NO! Profanity or suggestive language Alcohol, tobacco, or drug advertisements Promotion of negative behavior No pants worn below the waistline or excessively baggy 10

Beverages contained in cups or unsealed containers with the exception of clear water bottles Open beverage containers in the hallway 13

Attendance & tardies Schedule 174 days of school 7 periods of 48 minutes each Start time: 7:25 a.m. Ending times: Mondays 1:55pm Tues – Fri 2:25 PM ½ days 11:30 AM A student who is more than 15 minutes late for a class is counted absent for the whole hour. After your 7th absence You are not allowed to make up any missed work. End of Semester Attendance Bonus: Less than 1 absence & 1 tardy = grade bonus 14
  15. 15. Tardies A warning bell rings (Beethoven’s 5th) 1 minute prior to the tardy bell. Anyone who arrives in his/her classroom after this time is tardy. Students allowed 7 cumulative tardies per semester. Consequences for 8+ tardies: 8th = 2 lunch detentions 9th = 2 lunch detentions 10th = Thursday School 11th = Thursday School 12th = In School Suspension 13th = In School Suspension 14th+ = Referral to Administrator 15
