  17. 17. Revelation 1:4John to the seven churchesthat are in Asia: Grace to youand peace from him who is andwho was and who is to come,and from the seven spirits whoare before his throne.

  34. 34. Purpose of Revelation It was written to give Christians, struggling in this world against those who oppose the Faith, hope that the Christ who died for us will also oneday return for us as a conquering Kingto establish his eternal reign! Because Jesus overcomes, so can we!
  35. 35. Purpose of the book of RevelationJohn 16:33I have said these things to you, that inme you may have peace. In the worldyou will have tribulation. But takeheart; I have overcome the world.
