  33. 33. Today’sTakeawayTwo incredible miracles (feedings of5000, 4000)Yet both times the disciples missed thepoint!
  34. 34. Today’sTakeawayThey lost sight of the significance ofthese miracles because they werefocused on the wrong thing rather thanthe main thing.
  35. 35. Today’sTakeawayMark 8:14-15Now they had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them inthe boat. And he cautioned them, saying, “Watch out; beware of theleaven of the Pharisees and the leavenof Herod.” And they began discussingwith one another the fact that they hadno bread.
  36. 36. Today’sTakeawayThey were so fixated on their temporal, material need and their OWN lack ofresources, they failed to understandthat the answer to their need was rightthere in the boat with them . . .in the person of Jesus Christ!
  37. 37. Today’sTakeawayJesus is the Answer! How can I live the life that God theCreator intended me to live?
  38. 38. Today’sTakeawayJohn 14:6Jesus said to him, “I am the way,and the truth, and the life. Noone comes to the Father exceptthrough me.”
  39. 39. Today’sTakeawayDON’T become so fixated on this worldthat you lose sight of Jesus Christ! Don’tbe like the disciples who missed theobvious because they were focused onthe wrongthing rather than themainthing!
