2. The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) was formed in
September 1972 by Donald Dell, Jack Kramer, and Cliff Drysdale
to protect the interests of male professional tennis players.
Drysdale became the first President. Since 1990, the association
has organized the worldwide tennis tour for men and linked the
title of the tour with the organization's name. In 1990 the
organization was called the ATP Tour. The headquarters of the
ATP is in London.
3. Brad Drewett is a former top 40 singles and top 20 doubles player.
In addition to his work with the ATP, Drewett has developed and
managed a number of successful businesses in the sport and
fitness industry. Drewett has also worked as a commentator for
Channel 9 and Channel 10 in Australia. Drewett began serving as
ATP Executive Chairman & President on 1 January 2012.
Drewett had previously served as the ATP's Chief Executive Officer
for the International Group since January 2006, overseeing the
growth and success of ATP's operations in the Middle East, Asia
and Pacific regions.
7. He is a Spanish professional tennis player and a
former world nº 1. As of 4 February 2013, he
is ranked no. 5 by the Association of Tennis
Professionals (ATP). He is regarded as one of the
greatest players of all time; his success on clay has
earned him the nickname "The King of Clay", and has
prompted several experts to regard him as the
greatest clay court player in history.

2012 is ranked world No. 2 by the ATP. Many sports analysts,
tennis critics and former and current players consider Federer
the greatest tennis player of all time. He owns several men's
world records of the Open Era: holding the world no. 1 position

end World Nº 1 for both 2011 and 2012. He is considered
