  3. 3. The early church was a praying church They were constantly in prayer (Acts 1:14) They prayed over leadership decisions (1:24, 6:6) They were devoted to prayer (2:42) Their leaders set the example of prayer (3:1)

  5. 5. How to experience prayer Pray together (Acts 4:24) Pray to our Sovereign Lord (4:24) Pray for boldness to speak the word (4:29) Pray for God to move in our world (4:30) Pray so God makes himself known (4:31)
  6. 6. Do we believe God answers our prayers? God filled them with his Spirit and shook them (Acts 4:31) God enabled them to speak with boldness (4:33) God worked his grace among them (4:33-34)
