Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Kendall who loved to sing, dance & act. She always dreamed of being a star.
Because Kendall suffers from a life threatening condition called Sickle Cell Anemia, there was a foundation that wanted to make her dreams come true. The foundation was named Make-a-Wish Foundation.
This wonderful foundation sent Kendall and her family on an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles, California.
So the family packed their bags and off they went.
Whew, the flight for the family was very long. So on Day 1, they relaxed in the hot tub and got rested for the busy days to come.
Day 2 was Halloween and the family ventured to Universal Studios Hollywood. They rode a lot of fun rides and saw a lot of funny people. The favorite ride for Kendall and her sister was the Simpson's Ride! The Wish Foundation even got the family front of the line passes so they would not have to wait for any rides!! They also got a chance to do a tour of the studio were all the movies are made like "The Fast and the Furious".
Day 3, the family was sent to Beverly Hills, CA were Kendall and her sister enjoyed a day at the spa. They were treated to the "Glitz and Glam Make-up session, "Party Time" Hair, and a "Cupcake" pedicure. Boy, was Kendall living the fab life.
Day 4 was a free day for the family. They enjoyed pillow fights, time at the beach, face painting at Universal City Walk Hollywood and an awesome meal at the world famous Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant.
Day 5, Kendall & her family was off to see the homes of her soon to be neighbors on Rodeo Drive & Santa Monica Boulevard. I feel so at home here, but I think I want my star a little bigger.
Day 6, the family packed up and headed back to Atlanta only for a short while for they knew Kendall's dream of being a real star would one day come true.
Many thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for giving Kendall a taste of what her life will one day be......FABULOUS.
