2. February 2012 – Present HHESP-Housing and Higher Education for Single Parents
Director/Founder
HHESP is a non-profit organization currently beginning the fundraising phase. The mission of this
organization is to put prosperity in the hands of single parents. These parents often find it difficult
to attend school because they often fall into the bracket of the "working poor". There is little help
from the state and private organizations, and limited time for anything other than work. This
organization works to create an all-encompassing, assisted-living situation for single parents
enrolled in a four-year university. This includes:
Provides a living situation where parents are able to raise their kids in their own homes, have
little economic stress, and covered necessities during their time in university
Low-to-no income housing
24-hour on-site childcare
Transportation/shuttle service and an on-site chef to prepare meals
