The mother daughter book club report

 1. 2. What is this book mainly about?

This book is about a group of moms who decided they want to start a mother – daughter book club with their daughters. All of the moms agree, but as for the girls, they don’t really like the idea. Emma is too busy writing poems, Cassidy is too into sports, Megan is too busy hanging out with the most popular girls in the school, and Jess is worried about her mom not coming back.

 2. 3. Emma

Emma is quiet, and loves to write! She spends here time writing poems, and with her best friend Jess. Unfortunately, she gets made fun of by the fab four (Megan, Becca, Ashley, and Jen) because of what she wears and because she writes so much. Also, it was mainly her mom’s idea to start the book club.

 3. 4. Megan

Megan is a part of the fab four. She and the other three spend their time going around teasing people, and saying hi to boys like Zach Norton. She used to be best friends with Emma, but her dad invented a computer software, and they became rich, and she left Emma. Her favorite thing to do is design clothes. Also, she is very embarrassed by her mom because she is vegan.

 4. 5. Cassidy

Cassidy is into any and every kind of sport. Although, her main sport is hockey. She hangs out with the boys, and is usually nice to other kids except for the ones who aren’t nice to her. Her mom used to be a beauty queen, and is encouraging her to be more lady – like.

 5. 6. Jess

Jess lives on a farm, and runs it with her dad. Her mom went away to NYC to become an actress. She gets called “goat girl” by the fab four. Also, she has two twin brothers.

 6. 7. Did the Book Club help the girls in any way?

Yes, the book club helped them immensely. After a few meetings, they really got to know each other. Megan starting being friends with Emma again, and because Megan became friends with them, the Fab Four started making fun of her too. But in the end, they all realized it doesn’t matter how different you are from each other, you can still be friends.

 7. 8. Would I recommend this book to anyone?

Yes! I think this book is great for mostly girls. It is one of the best books I have read all year!
