Flushing Meadows Corona Park Strategic Framework Plan.<br />Flushing Creek Combined Sewer Overflow project was completed in 2007 and aims to regain Flushing’s potential as a waterfront community<br />In 2008, the state Transportation Department took on a massive project to restore 2½ acres of marshland along the riverbank. <br />

What’s next?<br />November 2008, the Parks Department launched the Flushing Meadows Corona Park Strategic Framework Plan.<br />Included plans to “daylight” Flushing River and Corona park<br />Restore connection of the Flushing River to Meadow Lake<br />Recreational opportunities: bike paths, boat access & athletic fields<br />
