Capturing an image of tree bark or water droplets on a leaf and tiny plants in great details is a great challenge. Being close to the subject is quite overwhelming and rewarding process because as a photographer I am not just taking these images for pleasure but my purpose is to raise environmental awareness .

Macro Photography by Jelina

 1. 2.

All the images shown here are presented to you without any photo editing software to enhance the images. Macro photography is always my forte. As seen here my focus is to explore environmental macro photography in the intention of endeavouring and capturing the significance and beauty of nature which is always overlooked. Understanding the ambiguity and diverse ecosystems within the environment is the only way that we understand how lucky we are to be part of this amazing world we live in.

Capturing an image of tree bark or water droplets on a leaf and tiny plants in great details is always a great challenge. Being close to the subject really a wonderful feeling, as you get closer to the object its identity changes its textures, form, shape, pattern and rendering an object in such tight focus, clearly shows its unique beauty and its complexity.
