HITEC Timeline 2006  Officially set up HITEC as an incorporated organization  Board of Directors and 501c(6) status established 2007  Official Launch of HITEC and of Internet website - www.hitecglobal.org  More than 40 members joined HITEC  12 founding sponsors (GMAC, Target, Walt Disney, Oracle, Vision IT, Compuware, HP, UBS, Sun Microsystems, Diversity Inc., Korn Ferry, Latina Style)  Launched first official HITEC Summit in NYC with UBS  Held second HITEC Summit in Houston with HP during NSHMBA Conference 2008  Held 4 HITEC Summits – San Jose, CA sponsored by Cisco; Washington, DC sponsored by Georgetown University; Detroit, MI sponsored by Compuware; and Atlanta, GA sponsored by VisionIT  New corporate sponsors (Cisco, Comcast, Georgetown University, Whitney Bank)  Released First Annual HITEC Report and other media assets  Launched HITEC100 Program and released first annual publication
