  6. 6. What is a good gender equality indicator ? • In groups, find a good indicator on gapminder.org and data.worldbank.org. • Analyse the trends and compare.

  18. 18. Collaboration In groups, students design the campaign and promote Gender Equality. Each student has a role and shared responsibility. Each class has a counterpart in another country. Knowledge Construction Students research, analyze and create content using Bing, Power Point, Movie Maker, Photosynth and Project Siena Extending Knowledge Beyond the Classroom Students research in their community for women that inspire them They interview, take a picture and share the content on Pinterest They communicate with other schools by Lync and share their findings Technology for Learning They analyse data from Gapminder and Data World Bank (compare and contrast) and share content in a OneNote document that can be shared between countries. Self Regulation Students used the calendar in Outlook to adjust the plan. Learning Activity 9th – 12th grade students 14-18 years old Objectives Define Gender Equality Develop a campaign for awareness toward Gender Equality Used social media to promote Gender Equality among the world Learn to create and apps with Project Siena to display their final product Work in collaboration and developed 21st century skills
